I also hope we never play Texas Tech again. And I was born and raised in Lubbock. Luckily we moved to Westlake my sophomore year in high school.
 
Last time I set foot in Lubbock was in 1990. I anticipate no future visits to that place.

There's also a video posted elsewhere showing a Texas fan being attacked, kicked and beaten on the ground like what happened to Reginald Denny. I don't have a dwitter acct, but those who want to view lubbuck scum attacking a Texas fan can look for it.

Westlake was literally heaven in 1970. There were caves, trails, dense forests and swimming holes surrounding us. Still very rural feeling and mostly undeveloped. I was astonished that Lake Austin and Travis had so little traffic..very few boats. One could motorcycle or hike everywhere without fear of trespassing. Emmitt Shelton Sr owned most of the land and he basically created Westlake. He was a great man.
 
That's some ******** right there by an ******* fan who needs to get charged with some damn thing!

I would have no problem at all with never playing Tech again. Why deal with that level of resentment and classlessness? Its a game for heaven's sake!
 
I do appreciate that the Tech girl, who people were saying got pushed by one of our players, just clarified "it wasn't his fault, he was bumped from behind, but he went ahead and apologized anyway".
 
This is not a new, or isolated incident. We all took/take pleasure from the "Gap Kid" video, that ended up with a snapped off goal post being shoved into a section of opposing team fans. While I found it incredibly difficult at the time to feel any empathy for a particular father of a visiting player who was a member of State government and who barely escaped injury by this goal post, this is a situation that has existed with the blessing, either tacit or implicit, of their Administration.

You can still purchase ariel view photos of a completely covered field after the Crabtree catch FOURTEEN YEARS AGO at the Tech bookstore. Much like the situation that OU found themselves in at Waco a season ago, the safety of student athletes, coaches and staff is of no importance to these members of the Irate Eight. Another reason that neither we, nor OU, should ever play any of them, in any sport ever again.

These welfare queens lived off of the Texas-Oklahoma Sugar Teet TV deal long enough. I cannot wait to see all of the value that UH, USF, etc., bring to that table, as well as the possible crumbs of the DOA Pac.

Play them next year in Austin, only because we have to do. After that, N.O.K., D. (Not our kind, dear).

Additionally, until there is a true penalty levied against the offending institution, there will be no reason for them to act on this dangerous situation. As I understand it, a local bank that is a corporate sponsor is picking up the tab for the $50,000 fine levied by the league. In short, there is no consequence to Tech for fostering an unsafe environment for the visiting team and its staff, (just as OU experienced last year in Waco and in Stillwater). It would be my guess that a $500,000 fine for the first event, increasing to $1MM for the second, would encourage schools and their alumni to get this **** under control.

I would also be remiss if I didn't state that I have grave concerns about the student seating situation at Moody and the opportunity for court storming.
