Lantana, Travis Country West...

We are looking for a house in the SW Austin area. Looking at Circle C, Travis Country, Travis Country West and Lantana. I have friends who live in Circle C and Travis Country but none in TC West or Lantana. Any thoughts on these neighborhoods? Are they still building? Recommend it?

Not sure where you are looking in TC, but we have lived here for several years and hope to for many more. We looked at TCW and mainly settled in TC b/c we can walk out the door and be at the entrance to the Barton Creek greenbelt. The dogs and kid are big fans..

Travis Country West is west of William Cannon off of SW Parkway...

Travis Country Homeowners Association is $29/month. With 2 large neighborhood pools, tennis courts, parks, etc., it is extremely reasonable..

i live in the preserve at travis creek apt complex and we live right by the republic of texas entrance to that complex. so i run through travis country and like the neighborhood. one problem is the # of houses in the neighborhood isn't that great so i bet very few on the market at a given time....
