Lance might be in big trouble

Basically what I proposed like 3 years ago on this board and got shot down: Lance has tested positive and testing officials looked the other way. It's way to convenient that everyone he has every trained with basically reiterates the same thing over and over again.

I love his response to the media regarding the allegations...

"I have nothing to worry about on any level with this"...Not, "I'm innocent, I never doped!!".

He's obviously got some good cover up mechanics on his side dating way back. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but where there's smoke there's fire.

Well, it's not the FBI, it's the FDA. And the FDA is involved because Lance was apparently trying to obtain HemAssist, a blood substitute undergoing clinical trials.

I've long believed Lance is guilty as can be of cheating. He's going to end up making Roger Clemens look like a saint.

I have not followed the long saga of Lance Armstrong and his doping allegations. But I think that such a titanic performance of seven Tour de France victories in a row, at time when men's professional cycling is a mature sport, makes it very suspicious he could dominate the field like he did. Professional cycling is notorious for doping, as bad as weightlifting during the Cold War. So if Armstrong's competitors were all training as hard as him, eating the same specialized diet, and probably using performance-enhancing drugs themselves, how could Armstrong dominate so much? Vastly superior genetics? I accept that genetics determines the upper limit of performance in elite sports but Armstrong's upper limit was way above everyone else's. To me it seems highly likely he was using some kind of then-undetectable performance-enhancing drugs.

It's interesting. I watched Lance's twitter since the announcement and at least judging by those (fwiw) he seemed unaffected...commenting on this and that, arranging a ride here and there, etc. Just a little while ago he made his first tweet regarding the si story:
