I've never understood the "claim" that some guys make towards ex-girlfriends. If she means that much to you, then why aren't you still with her?

You misunderstand, it is not the "claim," it is the so called buddy that is supposed to be your friend, doesn't care about any feelings you may have and goes ahead and bangs your ex-girlfriend. i have a very good friend, very loyal, we have been friends for years. he came to me one day and asked if he could pursue an ex of mine. because he asked, it turned out i was fine with it, wished him good luck and that was it, we remained very good friends. it is the dude that doesnt give a **** about you and does it that is the a-hole. i think its just proper protocol.
