Lamb Chops

no offense, but why would you want some sauce to cover up the meat!!!

I just don't get that.. I MUCH prefer a nice marinade and then a nice sear on the med. rare chops.

Which type lamb chops are you grilling?
 
missed it, but keep this in the recipe book for next time. It's great.

* 1 cup plain yogurt
* 1 lime, juiced
* 2 cloves garlic
* 1 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
* Salt
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1 teaspoon paprika

Directions for the yogurt:

Place the yogurt, lime juice and garlic in a blender and puree on high speed until blended. While blending, slowly incorporate the mint and season with salt, cayenne, and cumin.
 
In your fish market at HEB, there is a 99 cent scampi marinade that is unbelievable on lamb cops. they were sampling this the last time I was there.

Take a small hand full of fresh mint from the garden and a couple of cloves of garlic and mash them together into a paste. Salt and pepper your lamb then rub on the garlic and mint. Let sit while you get your fire started and grill. Yummy......
