Yep. That's the one thing I wish I had seen during the opener, but I took solace in the fact that her absence probably led to many more minutes for Jak, Shae, and the frosh.

Wow, I'm really high on Preston and Carlton. They both play like they know what kind of player they are. No tentativeness at all. I see only upward mobility in their careers.

Am traveling and couldn’t watch. Can someone explain Jone’s stat line: 6 pts, 1 rebound and 4 fouls? Lamar barely had a player over 6 feet.

Oldacre played the majority of minutes. Jones still takes soooo long to get her shot off that it allows the defense to collapse in on her which is causing lots of awkward shots at the rim.

Interesting things:
1. Lamar player with ball runs into Lamar player who happened to be at the wrong place - whistle, charging! This made me chuckle so hard. Like that time that Jodi got a technical for protesting when two Texas players went for the ball and they called jump ball!

2. Jak loses her shoe, tosses it to the sideline and continues to play. I can't remember if she was involved in a rebound, but hustled down the court with one shoe and one sock and kept playing. Only got the shoe back when there was a free throw and she had time to get it back from Vic to the ref to her. Most players would be whining to the bench asking for timeout or to be subbed out.

3. Six total fouls by the team in the first half. I don't know if it was the protestations by Franklin but quickly 4 fouls with the start of the 3rd quarter.
