We're going for skiing, not gambling. We usually try to eat well since we're burning calories on the slopes and are usually famished at the end of the day.
Any recommendations are appreciated, including breakfast spots.

we stayed at Harvey's in March and there are 2 good restaurants there....

19 Kitchen - on 19th floor and a great view of the lake. Kind of a lounge feel with solid American style food. Great views of sunset

Sage Room Steakhouse - your basic steakhouse in a lodge style setting

Last year you're complaining about how the yearly trips are going to make you broke and this year you're doing Tahoe

Yeah...still broke. I may need to sell my kid into white slavery.
We did get great airfare waaaay back in August....so I got that going for me.

Just got back on the 5th and can help you with breakfasts. On the South Shore the 3 very best are Bert's, Heidi's, & Ernies. On the North Shore...The Old Post Office & the Log Cabin. We hit them all this trip and found another Heidi's on the way back to Reno. All very eclectic and with large menus. Let me know if you need any other info let me know as we've been there at least 20 times over the years.
