Lake Charles

I need to spend 4 days in Lake Charles for buisness.
Where should I stay, what is there to do there?

Should I stay at one of the casinos, which casino has the best set-up.

Any info is helpful.

Since the hurricanes, the hotels are full all the way up to Leesville - places like Cameron and Johnson's Bayou have been leveled and workers have to have a place to live.. Try L'auberge du Lac (sp) Casino and Resort - by far the nicest place to stay in Calcasieiu Parish.

Except for it and the Coushatta up in Kinder, you can watch the air pollute, the water ripple, and dodge snakes and gators.

L'Auberge is definitely the nicest place in Lake Charles by a long shot. But it also costs an arm and an leg. And by the time you lose all your money in the casino, maybe an arm and two legs.
