Lacoste Shirts - How to Clean?

So I have two Lacoste shirts and I am wondering the best way to care for them. The label says to hang dry. I have done that and the shirt ends up feeling kinda crispy, if you know what I mean. On accident, the woman put one of the shirts in the dryer and it shrunk. It just shrunk in the length really. I wouldn't mind doing it in the dryer again, but I don't want it to keep gettin smaller.

How should I care for the shirts? Should I take them to the dry cleaner? I guess I could iron them a little after they hang dry. I don't remember what the care tag says about that.

If you don't like the crispy, hang them to dry and then put them in the dryer on 'AIR' and let them tumble for a while to soften them up.

Are you talking about the polos? If so, I have about 9 or 10 shirts and they are fine to dry on low. I did not like the feel of them, so I started drying them like this. Works great and has not damaged any shirts. I have had some of them for quite a few years and I would not risk damaging some of them, since they came from my last trip to Spain. Let us know how you decide to dry them.

Yeah I would just dry on low. I've found over the years that after washing and hang drying the first few times that the shirts don’t shrink at all if you dry on low/delicate.

Wash cold so the alligator doesn't fade. If they are new, wash separately so the color doesn't run and ruin your Member's Only jacket.

does anyone know if i take it to the cleaners, will they get a red snapper shot out of it (some ****** spilled a shot at the bar and it trickled onto my shirt)?

thanks in advance

I would dry them on low, but our dryer at the apt only has high and medium. It does have a "fluff" cycle with no heat, like one poster said to do. I might try that and if not, I will take it to the cleaners. My washer broke last night, so I can't wash the shirts anyway right now. Murphy's law man. When it rains, it pours and it is literally doing that right now in H-town. I really hope that hurricane doesn't turn our way later this weekend. I guess all this rain now is making up for like the 0.8 inches we had in June.

Stupid French. Haven't they figured out how to make a shirt that doesn't shrink in the dryer? Everyone else has....

If you can't afford to throw the shirt out after somebody spills **** on it, then you shouldn't be buying it At the very least, don't wear it to the damn bar where you are almost guaranteed to wear a drink and cigarettes home..

that happened to my Knights of the Round Table shirt the other day
