Hello college football season!
As expected, lots of ranked teams playing cupcakes this week but there are a few interesting matchups.
THURSDAY
Can Texas State make it a game at A&M? No.
FRIDAY
Charlie’s South Florida Bulls host #19 Wisky. USF just needs to play better.
SATURDAY
Will Muschamp’s South Carolina Gamecocks vs Mack Brown’s North Carolina Tarheels. Is anyone else looking forward to watching Mack in his debut with another program? I think it will be a little strange to see him coaching a different team, kind of like seeing your ex with her new man who is a nice guy and everything but it doesn't make you jealous. Go Mack, show Boom who is still the boss.
Georgia Southern at LSU. The Tigers won’t need to reveal much here but I’m still interested to see our next opponent in what amounts to a formalized practice session.
#11 Oregon vs #16 Auburn. At least there is some possibility of an actual competitive game between talented teams here. Go Ducks because SEC.
SUNDAY
Can UH hang with the Sooners in Norman? I wish. Anyway, it’s the only Sunday game.
