La Zona Rosa....your thoughts?

Ever see a show there? In the years that I have lived here, I have never been. But there is an act playing tonight that I would really like to see, Corrine Bailey Rae, an excellent jazz vocalist from England. Problem is that while looking up venue info on the web, I keep seeing review after review talk about what a terrible place this is. I am ok with crowds and standing room only and warehouse setting. I get the concept. But from terrible acoustics and sight lines to terrible overall experience is all I read over and over. I am not hard to please, but it sounds almost as if it would not be worth it, even if it is an act you really wanted to see. I would appreciate your thoughts on the place.

I had no idea that Corinne was in town tonight and if I did not have other plans already I would be at LZR with you to see her. She is fantastic and you should not miss this show. I have never experienced the sight line problems or other things people ***** about. I guess either I was lucky or knew where to go.

If a venue was that bad it would likely not be around and draw so many artists. They talk and it would not fly. I say go and don't look back. But for sure report in tomorrow on the show. This should be a moving and excellent show.
