I will be interested to see how ESPN works this out...with the first half of the European Soccer season and College Football happening at the same time. I dont watch a lot of La Liga (I only have FSC; no Gol) but it seems like the La Liga kickoff times were normally in the early afternoon, whereas a majority of EPL games kicked off early in the morning. The early morning kick offs worked great during college football season. The early afternoon ones...not so much. Im curious if La Liga does actually start later, or if they were taped delayed on Gol in an effort to bring in more viewers. If the games do start in the early afternoon here...I cant see ESPN choosing any La Liga game (except for maybe a Classico) over any college football game(that time slot for ESPN is normally a sup-par Big10 game)...
What I read is most matches will be on ESPN Deportes in Spanish. About 20 matches over the season will be on ESPN2 and all will be streamed over ESPN360.
So those of us that had GolTv, we will actually have less games on TV.
