There's No Place Like Home Pt. 1
Thu May 15 10/9c

The face-off between the survivors and the freighter people begins.

I believe this is the first part of the season finale which will be in two weeks. They are advertising showing the Oceanic 6 being brought home.

How many season are left? 2? If the 6 are leaving the island now, next season will cover what happens to them in the real world and then the final season they reveal everything?

Lilly was an Himmy Kimel last nite.

<* * * I dont think this really counts as a spolier but just in case....* * * >

They showed a clip with the 6 riding home on an Oceanic plane to Oahu, apparently. They all seemed depressed.

Lilly seems like apretty cool chcik in real life. Fun. Funny. Almost like a real person. And she can put away a large Subway sub.

Pardon the geekiness of this statement; the music in tonight's episode was excellent. it really got me emotionally involved.

OK, so I still think that Christian Shepard didn't really die. Kate commented that Jack did a good job during the funeral, and he said he's had lots of practice (presumably at acting like people are dead). I'm pissed that it's 2 weeks away, but the worst part is that I'm taking a section of the CPA exam at 5 that afternoon..

Maybe, I guess we'll see. I'll watch it again, but it sounded a lot like "convincing performance" to me. Good point though.

bevo daddy -- thanks for the link

UTViking -- Sayid and Jodie Foster are in a movie called "The Brave One" together..

Creed ,

There was a post to some theory site where this guy is putting a time travel theory. (If someone has a link, please post... I forgot... It might be on a prior week episode post)

**************** POTENTIAL SPOILER FROM THEORY BELOW *********************

In this time travel theory, the island has been placed by Ben and Richard in a time-travel loop to constantly be in 1996. This happens for eight years until (BINGO! 2004) the plane crash lands as Desmond turns the key to the failsafe.

According to the theory, anyone alive during Island time will be seen by the Oceanic folks and anyone else from the future. Cristian Shepard is in a non-dead state and can reappear, since he was alive during 1996.

Also, another incident that supported this theory is Hank the Mathematician's endless loop of building the cabin. He was in a loop for whatever reason, but knew he was dead.

The whole time theory thing is obviously important in the show, but I find it hard to believe that the entire show would hinge on some complex time-travel-math-equation. I think I'm a reasonly bright guy, but that last post just gives me a headache. Imagine trying to get millions of viewers to really undertand it. Surely the whole show will hinge on something that can be explained to my grandmother.
