Kyler Murray is NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year

So much of what decides awards of any sort these days isn't most deserving/worthy. Usually has to do with media group think, agendas, or marketing angles.
See also movies, music, intellectual/scientific, media, and just about all other genres really.

Yeah. But at 5-10-1, that doesn't spell NFL Offensive Player of the Year award. Guys like Drew Breeze and others should have been holding that award, not Kyler Murray. I didn't see much from his output to merit him even being considered.

It is "rookie" of the year so I'm not sure what Brees and others like him have to do with it. The Redskins had a rookie receiver that I thought deserved some consideration.

Further contributing to this group think (is this an oxymoron?), agendas and marketing angles is the fact that his head coach is that metrosexual pretty boy media darling.
