I think 2002 was the OT loss in Austin. 112-103, IIRC. Great game. That was the Sweet 16 year with TJ as a freshman. KU made it to the Final Four and then got destroyed by Maryland.

That 2002 game was one of the best games I have ever seen, even though it was a UT loss.

I should qualify that and say it was one of the best regulation games I have ever seen. The OT part was just annoying and frustrating and ugly.

The game never felt that close, if I recall. Drew Gooden got spanked around by Wilcox and Co.
