Ruffin gives up two hits. Runners on the corners wth 1 out. Gets two Ks and gets out. Yep. 0-0 to bot 1st.

Chopper from Travis. Tough play, error at 2B. Gets on base. one on, none out. Passed ball moves Travis to second. Now Torss drag bunts. They fail to make the play at first, and it goes as a hit. Runners on the corners, no out. And Belt does agreat safety squeeze. 1-0 !!!! Great small ball. Tant fly ball moves Torres to third. 2 out. After a walk, a K ends the innings. 1-0 to top 2nd.

2 hit batters and a weak single loads the bases on Ruffin. 1 out. Trouble.

And a linedrive and throw out DP !!!! ... Gets us out of trouble. 1-0 to bot 2nd. YES!

three groundball outs, 11 pitches, 1-2-3 go horns in the 2nd. On to top of 3rd. 1-0

Groundout, double, flyout, K .. Ruffin gets out of third. 4 hits and 2 HBPs have not hurt Chance so far. 1-0 good guys.

Great one-out at-bat by Torres. 7 pitches and he hits asingle up the middle. 2nd hit for us. oooh, belt hits one a longway but caught at the wall. 1 on, 2 out. orres steals. They make tough long throw to first and gets the third out.

At least we have made Morris make 53 pitches through three innings. 1-0 we lead, to top of 4th.

Keys gets a leadoff single that hit Morris leg and went to right. Rupp bunts him to 2nd. Kevin Lusson RBI single!! .. Fly out, steal,flyout ..

Bot 5th. Tucker walks. Tucker caught stealing. Torres double. Torres steal third. 1 out, 1 on. Yikes, Belt hits it to the worst place, stright to first. Torres has to hold at 3rd. 2 out. AJ gets his second K. We ere very efficient till there, as the K total would show, but things didn't wrk in the last two at-bats, as AJ Morris pitched great there.

2-0 to top 6th.

1-out solo homer .. and another solo homer. 2-2 after Ruffin had retired 9 in a row, before those homers on back-to-back pitches. OH DAMN.. 2-2 just like that.

Ruffin gets two flyouts and we have a brand new ball game. 2-2 to bt 6th.

The good thing is that we hve made Morris throw 86 pitches through 5 innings, by my count. He may be around only for an inning or two more.

We went 1-2-3 rather meakly in the bot 6th.

leadoff single and a K for Ruffin, and he is replaced by Dicharry. 1 on, 1 out, 2-2, top 7th.

Did Skip pull Chance too early? I hope not. His pitch count was not too bad.

Swing and a miss on 3-2, by Dicharry. 2 out. Steal and a walk. We bring in Austin Wood. K. Inning over.

2-2 to bot 7th.

Bot 7th. 2-out single by Tucker. But Morris has been very strong lately, though he is right at 100 pitch count now.

What is it with wheat aggy? They own us ... last 2 in football ... they come into Austin and beat us in basketball and now baseball.

This is getting old ... one of my golfing buds is a wheat aggy alum ... I'm getting tired of making excuses.
 
I am hating the entire state of Kansas for the remainder of the weekend. K State is REALLY getting under my skin for the past few years...
