Kristy Curry leaves Texas Tech

I can't fault Coach Curry for leaving Tech. With a demoralized fan base and attendance dwindling, coupled with the fact that 6-7 years at Tech with only a handful of NCAA tourney appearances for Tech, including last season's early exit, the writing was on the wall. I can't say Alabama is a destination but maybe the change to the SEC may be better for her in the long run. I'm sure Coach Blair is welcoming her with open arms.

GG to Tech? Quite possible, considering Tech is not afraid to make spla$hy hires.
 
Curry's had 7 seasons to get it done and she fell flat and had lost much of the fans. The AD set the expectations and she chose to find a job. Probably best for both in this deal.
