these are the stories that make cheering for these guys more worth it every year. tons o respect for the guys getting the t.
 
f his stone hands, by his sr year he developed into the best cover corner we've seen since MB's arrival. still fondly remember the pick 6 vs ou... oh the hope that gave.
 
He had 2 giant pick 6's and both I thought were the moments that would lead us to wins.
1. on CU's fake punt....it's still painful to think how close the boys came to overcoming that total meltdown in Dallas
2. vs OU, I thought OU's streak was over after that play. But then for some reason we played 2 hand touch on Quentin Griffin that afternoon.

What ever happened to his NFL career? I believe he was drafted by the Giants in the 3rd round but had some issues and was traded to either Detroit or Tampa.
 
I love the quote, but my favorite Rod Babers memory is watching him dance during the piped-in pregame music at DKR. I think his favorite song was Bad Boyz for Life.

Congratulations, Rod, for what you've achieved. The T-ring is indeed special, and I know you will wear it with pride.
