I didnt see a thread on it yet so......
(SPOILERS BELOW)
This movie was very reminiscent of that ****** Keanu Reeves movie from last year -- except this one was well made. Beings from outerspace come to earth to warn us (in general or just a select few) of our immenent demise. It also had elements of those two asteroid movies from the 90's.
Overall it was well done even though it was familiar territory. The one thing I thought was funny - the scene where the little kids have to choose to leave their parents and walk into the spaceship with the large energy-alien-beings. I couldnt even convince my kid to walk to his classroom on the 1st day of Kindergarten much less tell him that its ok, daddy's going to die but you go with this nice gentleman.
