Forgive me if this has already been posted.

I just watched last week's SNL and did anyone else see the Kings of Leon give a huge Horns Down at the sign off at the end of the show. He smiles and shakes his hand and does it for a good 4 seconds.

I remember Musberger saying earlier how they were huge ou fans during the Mizzou game, but come on. Total asses.

anybody who listens to those ******** arent longhorns. every chance those assclowns get a chance too they through the horns down. screw them

i liked Kings of Leon more back in 1978 when they were called Molly Hatchet.

I started liking Kings of Leon several years ago, long before I knew they were OU fans. I see no reason to stop listening to a band I enjoy, regardless of their football leanings. It doesn't bother me one bit.

I am 100 percent Longhorn.

There's a difference between being football fans and being haters of UT. Screw the Kings of Suckage and the horse they rode in on. Now that I know this about them, I won't be buying their CDs or attending any of their events.
Robert Earl Keene my be aggy, but he doesn't taunt UT fans in his audiences.
Aggressively irritating customers isn't good business for performers who wish to attract paying fans.

I am amazed at how superficially stupid some people are.

If you stopped using products that people who suck either manufactured, invented, or otherwise created you would be naked, thirsty, hungry, bored and would have to walk everywhere.

I think KOL just came out with a CD of OU cover songs, maybe Texanne and Texas Fight can go listen to the KOL cover of Boomer Sooner, I hear it's really good.

Some of you take yourselves WAY too seriously. Who gives a **** if they are rabid OU fans, to the point of needling hypersensitive UT fans like yourselves? Either you like their music or you don't. I doubt they give a ****, either way.

I'm one of the biggest haters of the ridiculous contingent of our fanbase that does this stupid ****, believe me. That said, to up and drop a band who you legitimately like, reeks of junior high. Abandon them for something like poor hygiene, but an inverted hand sign?

Pffft.

atxbomber,I know you don't like me or respect me very much, but pal, you don't get to decide what I am.

I remember back in 2002, Rick Perry came to the Baseball Championship Celebration at the Disch and threw out a Hook 'em. That was cool. If he started every speech with a Horns Down then he would suck and probably be out of office. Its just classless.

Being a sooner is one thing. I have sooner friends and aggie friends. They can support their school as much as they want.

If however, they felt a need to talk crap about UT every time I saw them that would make them douches.

If this band wants to support their school then fine. If they want to disparage my school away from a game environment which has nothing to do with texas vs ou then they are douches. If you don't take any offense to the douches then maybe you are..in fact...a...douc...well not 100% Longhorn.

As several have pointed out, included myself, there is a big difference between supporting your own team, which no one would object to, and doing the horns down sign on national tv.
And you spend your money where you want, and I will spend mine where I want. There is nothing more stupid than blindly supporting businesses you have strong moral objections to. Sorry, I'm not a sheep. Voting with your pocketbook is about the strongest message consumers can send, and I do this all the time. If you ever see me in a WalMart or a Kings of Suckage concert, feel free to toss a coke on me.

thats fine, they want to disregard their Longhorn identity and sell out to listen to a band that hates Texas, they're decision. We can't make every fan stay for the whole game every game, we can give them bad looks as they leave, but we can't make 'em stay late.
