King of Hill Series Finale

It was good. I always like Mike Judges social commentary. When it about Texas it is even better. What better than an episode about meat judging and steak eating to conclude.
 
Absolutely awesome final episode I thought. A lot of times they aren't that good but I thought it was great.
Sweet ending for the gribbles yet in character for dale, khan nice to connie telling her in his way he's proud of her, hank and bobby finally finding something to share, making fun of aggies, just a great episode
I will miss king of the hill. I think they do a better job of explaining texas, relationships, manhood, adolescence and growing up and suburbia then just about any show out there.
And the episod "church of the rising son" was quite possibly my favorit 22 minutes of tv ever. When they poke fun they do so in an insiteful way that's not mean spirited imo and its usually human frailties that we can all see in ourselves or someone we know.
A bit of a sad day. I'd heard the show got the ax, but saw on tivo a new episode and misread series finale with series premiere. When I realized my mistake watching the football game I got a little bummed.
Oh well, I'm sure they will live on in syndicated reruns for years and years.
 
I will definitely miss it. Even with all of it's exaggerations, it's still the best example of life in Texas. I will collect all of the DVD's.

All of the characters are hilarious EXCEPT for Luann and Peggy.

I would like to set them both on fire and then put it out with an icepick. Both are so annoying than I cannot stand to watch.
 
My favorite episode was the one where Kahn gave up and became a redneck. Great show. Really sorry I missed the finale.
