I just wanted to draw everyones attention to what Kim and her staff were able to do. Of her 2012 Class, she has 5 top 100 recruits and only one of them are from Texas. That means she has now gone NATIONAL. Thats a not a good thing for opposing schools, but I do like to see other programs breaking into UCONN Tenn and Duke territory. Texas' time is coming, but for now im happy for Kim and her staff. Continue to break great talent into the conference.

I agree and your post made me go and check the Horn roster, and I guess I was little surprised to see that 6 of the 14 were from out-of-state. And if I remember correctly, Cassie only moved to Houston as a junior in HS, which really means that half our roster is from outside Texas. And speaking of 2012, we can add Stafford to the list of out-of-state talent who will now call Texas home!

well,at Duke, Coach G recruited nationally. I expected the same here although with more focus on the Texas kids which happen to be very talented.

Mulkey has done an outstanding job as has A&M. Both recruit nationally to complement their Texas recruits.

Cassie is from San Antonio. But, there are 6 from out of state. I think that to get where Texas wants to be it will require looking out of state for some needs. Lots of good players in state but not enough to go around for all the good WBB programs.

With Baylor losing out on Alexis Jones and Moriah Jefferson, they really had no choice but to go out of state. That being said, Mulkey did a great job getting recruits to come to Baylor.

While several out of state players have had success at Baylor, several have also left the program for various reasons.

GG is doing a good job recruiting! I just want players that leave it on the floor. Not players that cry a lot, and dont want to work hard to be good. Very impress I.Stafford
