Kiffin gets #1

Im sure we will never know but there is something VERY slimy going on.

Kiffin just gives that feeling like he is going to make Barry Switzer proud with crap that he will do at Tenn. Boosters will look the other way because they want a winning program BAD and not just be Floridas ***** in the SEC east.
This will bite them in the ***...hard. B/c Kiffin will not deliver and AD will have to clean up a big mess and **** program.

I honestly think that the other UT will become irrelevant for a long time.

I'll be cheering for Gene and Auburn to kick butt over there. Hopefully they'll get going and put together a nice 2010 class. The Ty Rollison-led 2009 class isn't a shabby one.

Imagine how I feel.

There are a lot of people in this town that I'm going to laugh at when Kiffin ultimately fails. The trash talk about being the "real" UT had died down the last couple of years. It's starting back up because of their jackass of a coach.

Brown, a running back from Wichita's East High who was the nation's No. 1 prospect in the 2009 recruiting class
, originally committed to Miami in February 2008. In the past month, though, UM apparently pulled its offer, saying it didn't want to wait any longer for Brown's decision. In the end, the choice came down to Tennessee and Kansas State, and Brown said it was trust in Kiffin and the Vols' coaches that won him over.

"I love Coach Kiffin," said Brown, who also considered LSU, Clemson, Oregon and Missouri. "Coach Kiffin doesn't back down. A lot of people don't think Tennessee is going to turn around instantly. But that's not what is going to happen. Coach Kiffin thinks it's going to be turned around by tomorrow.

"He's pushing his coaches. He's pushing his players. I think he has a lot of energy, and it's contagious."

Bryce Brown says he expects a quick turnaround at Tennessee under new coach Lane Kiffin.

As with Brown's entire recruitment, Monday's announcement was full of drama. It started 10 minutes late, and Brown pulled out a Miami hat that he had been wearing Sunday and Monday. But just as it appeared he might be saying he was a 'Cane, Brown turned and handed the hat to older brother Arthur Brown – a Miami linebacker – and instead donned a Tennessee hat.

More kids with nothing better to do than play with hats.

Wow. That's about as melodramtic as recent episodes of ER. What an asshat. I hope we never have a player do that with us in a commitment. I would assume Mack Brown - at some point - would tell the player that kind of crap is unacceptable.

I'm thinking the over-under for PT at Tenn will be 2 seasons. Could be One-and-Done.
