Kidd trade back on?

Fudge.

With Hassell and Van Horn replacing Stack and George.

I guess its a little better, but the Mavs still have no inside prescence.

No inside presence = no chance to win the West = bad trade.

I'd much rather lose in the playoffs with 25 year old Devin Harris than with 35 year old Jason Kidd.

It'll be salt in the wounds when Harris puts up big numbers on a bad Eastern team, and Kidd's stats go down in the Mavs isolating, jump shooting offense.

Kidd to Mavs

This has to be the most screwed up trade attempt that I can recall in any sport.

Now Keith Van Horn needs 48-72 hours to weigh his options and decide whether he wants to make $4M for taking a physical. Could this have been handled more poorly?

Wow. That is all that needs to be said, yet I will say more. I guess the mavs are going for the absolutely no D or inside game style of play for the rest of the season. Just run the court like a bunch of track stars. The biggest losses are the draft picks. They won't be great but instead of another mediocre point guard they should use those for big men who can play not just take up space.

LOVE THIS TRADE!

The Mavs have a 3 year run left in them and Kidd will be great for those 3 years. His shot is just as "bad" as Harris' but he brings more experience, rebounding, assists to the team.

The only thing that pisses me off is we got Anotine Wright. ANYTIME you add aggy, you increase on the suck-o-meter.

That is AW of my signature fame by the way,

Clearly he was referring to the draft pick, but "another" means that one of the PGs before the draft pick is mediocre as well.
