It amazes me the number of smart *** comments and such i get when i wear my UT products this year. I guess folks don't get to rub it in often so there making the best of a down situation. Also is funny to see all the BU apparell flying around this year.

I have been getting a lot of smiles lately when I proudly wear my burnt orange. I expect many of them are out of sheer sympathy, but if anyone says anything I just assure them that Texas is my alma mater. My support of The University doesn't hinge on football and certainly not on one football season.

Texas is bigger than a football season.

We're down now, but we won't be down long.

I work with guys that are piggy fans. Not much they can say since we own then, have won the past 2 meetings, they have never won an SEC title and not a NC since 1964 (Bama claims the same year too).

College football is cyclical. We're due for a down year (maybe not this down though). Hopefully it won't last long. But Texas is still my team and I'm going to support them no matter what.
