Keyboard for a Mac

So my girlfriend spills a little water into the keyboard, and it, of course, goes to ****. CBT is in charge of finding a good deal on one. Any horn fans know of a place around Austin I could get one at a decent price? I was just thinking CompUSA or the like. Oh, and it's a G3 IMac. Thanks in advance.

Other than eBay and defective products, there are no good deals on Mac products. Ever. Under any circumstances.

There's a new Apple store in barton creek mall now, btw.

most any USB keyboard should work. I'm partial to my macally "ice" keyboard myself (white & clear, matches the iBook) for it's extra USB ports & the great key response.

Well we did go to CompUSA and got just a generic USB keyboard. What's interesting to note is that the only difference between a "Mac" keyboard and "PC' keyboard is the "Apple" key that is on it. I obviously am not a Mac user so excuse my ignorance, but appearantly it's used a lot for key stroke short cut type things. The girlfriend said she did use the "apple" key a lot but she's going to be getting new comptuer soon anyways, so she didn't want to shell out the extra cash for a just a short period of time. There was a huge gap though:

$15 - bottom line USB keyboard, generic;
$40 - bottom line "Mac" keyboard, generic;
$50 - pretty Apple brand "Mac" keyboard.

It's amazing that the only difference is that one key unless your'e going for the style thing, which I understand.
