There has been so muc emphasis put on the ability of our young secondary to grow up before confrence play begins. Granted that is true but i feel the bigger key to confrence success is going to be how well were able to run the ball. When the games are close which i really feel every one of these games on murderers row will be are we going to be able to pound the ball and play keep away when it counts. Giving our defense needed rest time against no huddle offenses that run you ragged. I honestly feel this is going to be the bigger piece to the puzzle. Plus keeping Colt healthy as well. Because i really think the numbers thrown up by the Big 12 offenses this year are going to be astronamical. Making every defense look bad. Turnovers and yes luck are going to add into the equation as well. Just a few thoughts with nothing to base this on.
