key largo

Anyone been to key largo? I have a wedding to attend in march that I plan on making a family vacation while we are at it....looking to spend 3-4 days down there....would rather not stay in a hotel if the money is the same as a condo...any ideas?

not a place to stay but I would recommend going to John Pennekamp State Park and going on the Snorkel tour. They take you out and you're in 15-20' of water but the coral is great, some of the better snorkeling I've seen.

there are a LOT of ****** places in the keys, and not a lot of nice places.

You can search rental websites, but you should probably just stay at the marriott.

Pennecamp is nice. My parents have a house on the water in key largo not too far from pennecamp.

We stayed at this place in Key West - they own a similar place in Key Largo:The Link
The one in Key West was absolutely awesome. I would go back any day. It is a little pricey, but totally worth it.

The best Key Lime pie in America is served at Tower Pizza (really!), on the north end of Key Largo. You will thank me later.
