He is not listed on the current roster that is on texasports.com; I know that he played during the fall, does anyone have any info, or is it just an error on the website.

Could someone provide any info within privacy parameters on why he is not on roster? With Clark and Moldenhauer coming off injuries. his power is desperately needed.

I checked this morning and he is listed on the roster now, thanks for the responses fellas...

I haven't seen Kevin Keyes play a game of baseball since his freshman year at Connally HS. My chick went there so I went to pick her up from a game and when I got there I thought Greg Golson (CF prospect, top 10 overall MLB pick by Phillies like 3 or 4 yeears ago), who I know personally and know what he looks like, and was a senior in HS at the time, was up to bat. I said, "Hold on babe, lemme watch greg's at bat." She said, "That's not Greg, that's a freshman named Kevin Keyes." I said,"

." I could not believe that I just mistook a guy who would be a top 10 MLB pick in a few months for a FRESHMAN in high school. I stayed and watched him play and he looked like Earl Campbell on a baseball field. I really really hope he lives up to the potential I saw that day in 2004.

TR Kevin was drafted in the 26th round by the Rangers from high school, many are surprised he wasn't drafted earlier. He started in left field at the first of last year, then played on and off throughout the year. His highlight of the freshman season was a shot over the green monster, line drive style.

IMO, due to Clark and Moldenhauer coming off injuries, he is going to have to "carry" this team with his power at the plate. Come out and see him. Your analogy of looking like Earl Campbell on a baseball field is correct.
