Kerbey Lane Pancake Mix

It's for sale at HEB's and Central Market.

I was wondering if anybody has tried it yet.
I love the pancakes when I order them at the cafe, but I suck at making my own.
But, I usually just use the instant crap. Maybe if i tried a better mix...

I have not become a pancake blackbelt yet, but i can whip up a decent batch.

First off, if you insist on using a mix, never ever ever use the "just add water" stuff. That **** is awful. You will improve your homemade pancakes 100x just by switching to the "milk, eggs, and oil" mix where you have to add that **** yourself.

Even with that mix, when I add a shitload of cinnamon and a dash of sugar, they come out pretty good for the minimum amount of work required.

I live a few blocks from the South Lamar Kerbey Lane so sometimes I'll just by a quart or a half gallon of their fresh pancake batter. Good stuff.

I haven't tried their mix yet, right now I'm using whole foods pancake mix, it's pretty good.
