Kentucky vs Uconn

Vol Horn 4 Life

Good Bye To All The Rest!
#7 vs #8......its a good game so far with UConn up by two. Kentucky is having a hard time adjusting to the Husky speed, but UConn seems outmanned against Kentucky down low even though they've had some early luck so far.

We'll see how this plays out, but I think the size and strength down low will benefit Kentucky pounding the paint and rebounding.

UConn is faster and is in all the right places at the right time. Kentucky seems lost. Even though Kentucky has been 8 or more down in the first half in every game in the tourney I'm not sure they can figure this out.

Ky makes a FT then UConn airballs a three. Kentucky ball with UConn winning 33-27 after a held ball.

They traded baskets and Kentucky makes a shot and foul with 2.9 seconds left!

Kentucky comes back from 15 down to end the half down only four 35-31 at the half! Again, this looks familiar. The second half will be epic!

UConn playing not to lose, but doing everything it can to win getting rebounds and holding the ball. Neither team seems to really want the win trying not to win. The game has gone stale!

Kentucky always seems to have a poor free throw shooting team, but in past years they were able to overcome it with superior talent. Not tonight.

We were a 7-seed without anything coming close to resembling the backcourt that either team in the national championship put on the floor. There's only so much that Taylor and Felix could do to resemble Napier or Boatright or the Harrison brothers or James Young.

I guess the good news is that I think we're headed in the right direction. 2014-15 will be a "come to Jesus" year in getting everyone to accept their roles.

I thought before the game UConn would win. However, if damn UK players could make free throws, they might have pulled off the win.
