keeping chili warm/hot

I am thinking of a sterno type burner to keep a pot of chili warm where there won't be any electricity nearby. I could put it on top of a grill but the grills will be occupied by other food. I have a crock pot but it is electric.

Is the Sterno burner/grill idea the best going? I am thinking Academy will have a selection. This post is just in case somebody knows something better off the top of their noggin.

No, there are no beans otherwise I would not call it chili.

Sterno is the best solution as far as I know. However, in this Texas heat you may not need to do anything if it's outdoors and you have it in a serving container that can retain some heat.

For $40, you can get one of these at Academy. I've had one for about 15 years and they really come in handy.
