There's no excitement about Horn hoops this year. I'm not excited. I don't even try to look for them on TV anymore with so many on LHN. Is today's game even sold out?

I think most of my negative attitude is toward the university not the team because I can't see most of the games anymore when I could see them all last year.

Oh well, I know they don't care about me, just my money.

Ummmm... I've been able to find them on TV in Ohio for the past couple of weekends.... All the big games lately have been available.

Plus it's fun to watch them get better.. it's frustrating yes, but I can see this team being a BAMF in a couple of years.

This team plays hard, with heart the whole game. No give up in them. They are a basket or two away from beating KSU, Mizzu, and Kansas.

With just a little luck they beat all three. They will get better as the season goes on, and they will win some games they are not supposed to.

I used to be sold on Rick as a coach, but the past few years has made me question that. He has created a semi-respectable program for sure, but, I'm not sold on his ability to really COACH the talent that he has brought in over the years.

Kinda hard to do that with all the freshman on this team, unless they are otherworldly talents like Kentucky's or North Carolina's recruits. The current freshman are talented, but no where near the level that KD, Tristan, Lamarcus or DJ were as freshmen.
IMO, he's done a better job this year in getting the Horns to compete against obviously superior talent at Kansas and Missouri.

I guess the good thing is with the current crop of freshmen, they won't likely be 1 and done, so maybe the Horns can build around them for next year.

Why do we seem to have a young team every year but other powers don't? Our great recruits come and go. Why is that?
