Watching the game tonight which is not quite awful but at least a game to watch. What is shameful is Lou Holtz and company are announcing a different game. They have missed at least a dozen calls. "They only have time to throw a slant over the middle into the end zone". Guess the kicker was going to throw the slant. Calling penalities on the wrong players and on and on. The first quater was a golf tournament if you had your eyes closed. I had a choice to make turn off the game or the volume.
 
K-State only looks good when they play us.

And that should do it folkes. 17 point game with less than 8 minutes to go.

L'ville has some pretty good athletes showcasing though. That true frosh RB is a stud, who apparently didn't even make the 2-deep for the game. They also have a soph receiver that is pretty quick with really good hands.
 
Louisvilles RB Anderson is pretty quick in open space. 16 rushes for 167 yards at the start of the 4th to go along with 3 TDs.
 
I had Mary Kay-State marked as a loss for NU this year simply because they'd treat us as their Super Bowl.

But then came tonight's game. More things change, the more they stay exactly the same. Princess is still an idiot, and he'll find a way to screw it up against us.

I still think we lose to OU, MU and TT, but 9-3 is now a real possibility - sCUm could be the wild card in those plans though. we'll find out tomorrow night.
 
K-State is the TCU of the Big 12. Even same colors as TCU.

All they can do is srew up a season here and there for the elite programs in the conference. Meantime, their program is a yo-yo.

Horns = 7 straight 10-win seasons and one national championship.

KSU's defense was poor, but I think the offense was worse.
They could not run at all. Freeman was not very accurate and when he was the WR's dropped half of the ones they could have caught. Makes for a lot of 3 and outs and left the D on the field way too much. And I pick them to win by 3.

K State was ranked #1, in November, ten short years ago (TCU can't say that), which was/ is good for the conference. Too bad the SEC servicers (read:ESPN staff) rarely come up for air long enough to remember that, or that four of the Big 12 CC game losers would have played for the NC save for their loss in that game. Shame the Wildcats didn't pretend they were playing us tonight!
 
What, they were playing football? From listening to the announcers, I thought it was a golf match, along with a Notre Dame pep talk recap.
 
this game just shows parrity in CFB. louisville got blasted by kentucky, but really dominated KSU last night. UCLA beats TN and gets completely blasted by BYU.

it means the results are hard to interpret still. KSU could end up being pretty good, or they may only win 4 games.

Hey Prince. Where was that high steppin' dance down the sidelines tonight? Looks like you needed some of your halfback and flanker pass trick plays. Enjoy your two wins over Texas because you'll be unemployed next time we play KSU.

After Murphy had his KO return, Prince was walking down the sideline with this cocksure, gratified, look on his face as if he had drawn the whole thing up himself and had a whole bunch more of that in his bag of tricks.
Um, no, your team got extremely lucky duder. Maybe you better concentrate on, oh, I don't know, offense and defense anyway...

b). Colt hurt in game up in Mahatten.
c). Our kids were flat-both times.
d). Davis refused to run the ball.
e). Jamaal can't hold on to the ball.

Did anyone else notice how much Mark May was talking about USC and how they are the best team ever(again) this year and how their loss to Stanford last year should nor have counted b/c their qb broke his finger. HELLO Stanford started their backup qb who had never played and were a 41 point underdog. He makes me want to vomit, with his crazy, blind rants.
