I don't know if I will be able to watch the whole game seeing as there will be plenty of shots of Frankenstein Martin on the broadcast. The guy scares the crap out of me. I think an announcer from our last game said that he's scared of Martin as well.

Contrary to what the brain dead announcers say, Kabongo actually has two turnovers.

Not a bad first half, but when Texas makes mistakes they sure are glaring ones.

Some (obvious) observations:

McClellan is going to become a pretty good player before it's over.

Kabongo really needs to learn to be patient.

I admire the effort on the boards, but not having a post threat at either end is a lot to overcome.

Hard to get excited about playing a team we rarely beat.

KSU is a big, physically tough (almost thuggish) team that ******* and moans when fouls are called. they are whiney *******.

I now hate ksu and their coach more than any other BB team in America.

For our squad of mostly freshmen, with a below average post presence, to play them that tough, and only lose by three at their house speaks well for our guys' heart and toughness.

We will beat them when they come to Austin.

I thought it was a good game for the Horns. It is the first time I have seen even remote improvement by this team, which is definitely a good thing. It will be a struggle all year, but what I want to see is improvement.

Unfortunately, other than McGruder I do not think K State is a very good team and that will become more clear as the season goes on. Maybe the other guys on the team had an off night, but I was not impressed.
