Justice Carlton SEC and National FOW!

And not a word on the post West Virginia game thread about how exciting and fun it was to see Justice get the inbounds steal on the inbounds play at the end of a one possession game. Our posters were too busy griping about this and that. I am pumped about this team. It was so fun to see the freshmen. So much potential.

Hell, I didn't get to see that play... That crappy *** video was going in and out and I miss that last play. I saw her shoot the free throws that was it. I had to assume she stole the ball on the inbounds.

Where was the griping? I saw some things posted about areas where we still need to improve, but griping???
🤣

Excited about one play ?
We'll talk at the end of the year.
Yes, we will. It’s not that I do not see any of the problem areas. But the team got 3 wins, including one over the then 12th ranked team in the country. The freshmen got lots of good minutes. The Butler game, in particular, should have been confidence building for the players coming off the bench. But then as the coaching minded people on the board mentioned, the WVU game tape should provide plenty of learning material.
Back to Justice. That one play at the end of the tournament was just the cherry on top of some very promising play. She scored 30 off the bench against a decent team. She made a few freshman mistakes, but, generally, she is skilled and alert on the court. It is great to have Justice to back up Moore who suffers from tendinitis and a tendency to foul. She would start for some very good teams. Justice looks slow getting up and down the court. That I hope can be improved some with off-season training.

I missed the 3 games over Turkey Day. So my comments are from watching Carlton earlier. Yes….she is slower than thought. Kinda gliding or conserving energy. But I’ve seen bursts of quickness that is encouraging. Just hi level impression is she has a high basketball IQ. She seems shorter than hoped for….guessing 5’-11” versus 6’-1” published, but it does’t seem to deter her. Looking forward to seeing her Thursday night. Way to go Carlton!🤘🤘
