There's a lot of pro-Terry/anti-Terry crap spewed on this board, but I dare say few, if any of those people have or will "follow the money". It has nothing to do with race or the administration's inference.

That said, in my congratulatory email to Coach Terry, I told him that I don't follow basketball nearly as closely as football, but follow all Longhorn sports. I shall never get the sting of the last minutes of the Miami game out of my mind, BUT those first 30-32 minutes of that game may have been the best Longhorn basketball I've seen in nearly fifty years.

Many of you followed the team far more closely than I, but I would be interested in your favorite performances over the years.

TJ Ford's Soph. season is probably the high water mark for me. Maybe kicking the Sooners' asses at home on their Senior night would qualify as my favorite.

Texas vs #3 Arkansas at the Drum February 1990. It was when Penders started to roll. We lost the game, but the crowd was amazing. Benford Williams had a dunk that was the best I’ve ever seen live.

iii,

I was at that Arkansas game sitting in front of Lance Gunn. At one point, Lance went and got a huge ice cream cone, walked down to the end line, offered it to Miller and stood there taunting him by eating it in front of him.

Another very fond basketball memory was 1981/82 before Wacker blew out his knee in Waco, when we kicked the **** out of Drexler, Olajuwon, and the rest of the UH squad in a sold out Erwin Center
