Miami (Ohio) that is. We played Vandy and I left at halftime because we were getting dominated but I was paying attention to the clock and the officials......
- The 40 second start clock is fairly inconsistent. Sometimes it would start far after the play ended and sometimes it would start right away.
- Both MU and Vandy had time to huddle up. When the team huddled they would break the huddle at about 13 seconds and snap around 4 seconds. So, I dont see this being that huge of a difference that normal.
- The defense still had time to run out different packages and different players to counter act the offense's.
- There is a 30 second timeout that held tv coverage throughout. (Not sure if this is new or not but I noticed it this time so idk)
Other than that I was so excited to see some real time football and some plastic hitting some plastic. I am so ready for Saturday night.
For those who were wondering, Chris Nixson, the Vandy QB, was actually pretty good and had a Vince-like run for about 50 yards.
