Just got back from Cabo with my fam.

There are always questions about cabo here, so thought I'd post my little trip review.

I stayed at the Westin hotel for a couple days, then switched over to the Westin Regina, which is the time share part (stayed with the whole fam there in a couple of suites). We thought the whole property was awesome - had a great time with my young niece and nephews. Beautiful pools, loved the restaurants. El Ciruelo is amazing and has one of the best views on the coast. Highly recommend eating there or at least going to the bar at sunset. Arrecifes is also great for dinner. Service was pretty excellent, even when the place got really crowded full of French Canadians over the weekend.

Visited Las Ventanas for lunch and some beach action. Seriously, one of the most beautiful properties I've ever visited. Great people watching too. Their beach is gorgeous, and we loved the hammocks/cabanas. I hope to one day be rich enough to stay there.

Thought the Office was overrated, although the view is nice when you can get the beach peddlers out of the way. A bit loud and touristy for my tastes. We did a glass bottom boat ride for $10 a person from there and thought that was really cool - the Arch was gorgeous, and loved seeing all the fish and whatnot. I got some awesome pics.

Went swimming with the dolphins at Cabo Dolphins. Stupid-expensive, and you can't take pics - you have to buy their prints at $25 a piece or pay $100 for a CD with 8 digital photos. Still, I loved it - the place is clean, and the dolphins seem to be treated well. Not as nice as the dolphin place in Isla Mujeres, but still fun. Since parents were paying, I didn't mind the expense

Also, I'm a girl, and I love dolphins. I know, it is dumb.

Overall we had a fantastic time - perfect weather (aside from one really windy day), excellent food, great views, fun activities. My only complaint is that the ocean generally seems too rough and the rip tide is pretty extreme - I swam in the ocean only once the whole trip, and it wasn't that pleasant on account of the waves that pretty much knocked me over repeatedly. Still, the many infinity pools at Westin were good enough for me.

Was at the Westin Cabo 3 weeks ago. First time there. It was awesome. Will definitely go back. Disagree about The Office. Very good food and the atmosphere can't be beat.

Will definitely go back to Cabo. 2+ hour flight from Houston? Fuhgedaboudit

I was in Cancun last fall, when we played Baylor.... the water there was also rough. Basically unswimable. What gives?

I just got back today from two week near Tulum and Playa. Solimon Bay and Maroma Bay were blissful!
