Jumper

I read the book about ten years ago and it was very good, but the critics are raking the film over the coals. I think I'll wait until it's on DVD.

This is one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

Hayden Christensen is a horrible actor. I don't know what George Lucas saw in Hayden for the role of Anakin Skywalker. Hayden is only good in two movies: "Life as a House" and "Shattered Glass." Two roles for a whiny little *****. Anything else, he's so far out of his league, Paul Walker looks like an Oscar winner compared to him.

***SPOILER WARNING***

The movie is illogical. The jumpers are douchebags. One jumper follows Hayden until Hayden finds out there's another jumper. Then the other jumper gets pissed that Hayden starts following him. Plus, there's no reason for the two jumpers to hate each other. It doesn't make sense.

Plot lines appeared that never developed.

Samuel L. Jackson mails it in. Diane Lane shows up in a useless cameo for a respected actress, setting up a sequel that I hope will never happen. The biggest complaint is that the action wasn't even cool. Sure the plot sucks. I can deal with that. But you better have something exciting. The best part of the movie was the Indiana Jones trailer.

This movie is the worst. I wish I could have jumped into Step Up 2 or some razor blades.

I found it to be pretty mediocre, but I can't complain too much...that Hayden Christensen is a hottie

I saw it Friday night. If you watch it purely for the special effects you won't be disappointed. If you're more interested in a plot or quality acting then spend your money elsewhere.

As a Sci-fi fan I enjoyed the special effects and the idea of teleportation. My wife and I walked out wondering how Haydon ever gets another job in Hollywood after Star Wars. He's OK until he opens his mouth then all bets are off.
