I hated the Julius Jones pick from day 1. We could have had Stephen Jackson and traded away the pick. I've been a Cowboy fan all my life as well and never put him in the ring of honor. I for one am not dissapointed to see "shoe string" go. (a few friends of mine and I nicknamed him shoe string for his inability to break tackles)

JJ was a bust and I for one am glad to get rid of him. Imagine if we would've taken Steven Jackson with that pick instead of trading it away... Oh, what could have been. Now let's just hope that Jerry Jones doesn't trade away Barber to pick up an unproven Rookie (names not needed here)!

if we had jackson, we likely wouldn't have barber. or at least i doubt he sees the field much. and based on last year, i'd say that barber is on par with jackson.

And Maurice Morris, who rushed for 600+ in each of the last 2 years and was playing more than Alexander at the end of last season. Alexander is out, and they're going to go with running back by committee.

Alexander will most definately get cut. Jones will share the primary RB duties with Morris. Duckett was signed primarily as a short yardage back and I wouldn't be surprised to see him play a little FB.

If JJ runs all the time like he did in Seattle as a Cowboy, he will be a Pro Bowler. He went off in that stadium several times. I think he was quoted saying something about how much he likes the turf there, and how fast it is.
