It is reported on RCS sports that he committed at the UT Elite camp. It also states that another "top 5 player" committed. My guess is either Zach Peters or Winston Sheppard from the 2012 class.
Watched him all camp. He's a really nice player that has a great feel for the game. Once again, we are lucky to be longhorn fans. Coach Barnes just keeps the players coming...
That's correct. Lewis will be a junior this upcoming school year. The coaches were also very high on Everett (going to be a sophomore) and of course Zach Peters who is going to be a soph also. Peters is an absolute stud who is going to be an outstanding player. I was shocked at how well polished and physical he is at such a young age. I also think that if we want him, we will get him.
Peters was very good. I would rather the 2nd commit be him than any of the other 2012 guys. Actually, instead of anyone else at the camp. I thought he was the best player there.
I think Sheppard and Pleasant will be good, but they have a lot of work to do. Neither took jump shots, and Pleasant hardly handled the ball.
Lewis played great. One of the top 3 players there. He will fit in at UT very well.
Deandre Daniels was also very impressive. 6'8 with good handles. When his shot becomes consistant he will be amazing. Along with Peters and Lewis as one of the top 3 players at the camp. Future NBA player without a doubt.
Oh, and McClellan was there also. Didn't play very hard, but when he wanted to score he did. Handles and shoots it well at 6'5. You could tell that he felt like he didn't have anything to prove.
There were a lot of other good players that I am obviously missing, but this is what I remember of the top of my head.
I don't know, that's why I put it in quotations. RCS covers Houston so it may just mean Houston. II think it's Peters though, which would be nationally. They were on him pretty hard.
The only reason I thought it might be Sheppard is because he is top 5 in Houston for that class, and his parents went to UT.
