Close to what? Conspiracy theory nirvana? That's the worst and laziest opinion piece I've read in at least the last year. Judge Napolitano should be ashamed for putting his name in the byline.

I think there is a lot of truth to that. If it smells like S%$t, and it looks like S^%t, it must be S#*t. It sure in the hell doesn't smell or look like a rose.

Just because something smells bad about the Hillary situation doesn't mean that he's right. For someone who has such great grasp of the American legal system, he sure takes a lot of liberties in redefining laws.

Oh, wait, he's not redefining them. He's posing them in rhetorical question format. What's with the conservative show trial questions lately? He might as well have written "GUILTY!" after each one. Must be a New Jersey thing.

To prove conspiracies, someone has to investigate. Since the legal system won't do it, all we can be do is to ask questions, until there is corroboration via release of documents or people come forward.

There are several aspects to Hillary's connection to Libya and the speculation of the FBI role which followed.

First regarding CIA involvement separate from the military/Congress: This would be nothing new. The CIA has been instrumental in regime changes in Latin American for decades and in the Middle East region dating back at least to 1953 when the elected President of Iran was ousted in favor of the Shah.

If you don't believe its possible that upper levels of the FBI would ham-handedly put pressure on agents in order to shut them up you might first read this book by Sibel Edmonds.

Where I depart from the judge is where he speculates that Obama changed course because of his dislike for Trump. While I know Obama doesn't care for Trump, that would not be a reason he would get his hands dirty if he was otherwise in the clear. In my opinion, Obama probably only became involved late if he was concerned that a thorough Justice investigation might lead to the disclosure of improper actions he was involved with or the disclosure of covert US action that the government does not want known.
