Juco D3 World Series in Tyler

Saw a great game between the #1 and #2 teams in Juco D3. Gloucester pulls it out in the bottom of the 10th 4-3. Nick Alloway from Gloucester County is supposed to be a 1st rounder and has a workout scheduled at Yankee stadium before the draft. He left with 3-1 lead in the 8th. But I was very impressed with the kid from White Oak for Tyler JC, Derek Bowen. He matched Alloway pitch for pitch and had 13 strike outs when he left in the 7th. Anybody know anything about him?

Sorry I do not know anything him. But, I too watched the game. I sat near the pitchers mother and she said he had a workout scheduled with the Yankees, but I had no idea he was a 1st round prospect.

Gloucester's CF Alexi Colon that HR run is supposedly leading the nation in HR's and a draft prospect. But I'd still like to know about the Bowen kid. He's at least a D1 prospect if he doesn't sign.

Wow, Tyler JC made it all the way back to the finals by beating Manchester, NH and Herkimer, NY last night. So we're right back to #1 vs #2 for the National Championship. Tyler is on a roll and I wouldn't doubt they could beat Gloucester County twice to take the title.

Congrats to Gloucester County College Juco Div 3 National Champs! Another tough loss in extra innings for Tyler. Great job by both teams.

Now let's go Temple and San Jac!! One of ya'll win Div 1.
