I was reading Mark Schelbach or however you spell it's story about Colorado's game vs. WVU and how they are on the right track. It said that Smith was Scott's uncle....how many years apart are they?

Seems like an interesting social story.

Oddly enough, Stewart wasn't supposed to be the Colorado freshman who burst onto the scene this season. Darrell Scott, from Ventura, Calif., was ranked the country's No. 1 tailback prospect by most recruiting services. Scott had more than 70 scholarship offers, but chose the Buffaloes, in part, because sophomore receiver Josh Smith is his uncle.

This story has been well chronicled over on the recruiting boards months ago. Josh Smith being his uncle was a factor as was Scott's mother's supposed job offer in Boulder.

All the more reason we'll mudhole CU when we play 'em.

He's his uncle (slap), he's his teammate (slap), he's his uncle (slap), he's his teammate (slap) ... he's his uncle _and_ his teammate! (sobs)

All that time we were recruiting the wrong RB. Should have been going after that little guy from Ohio instead of wasting our time on Scott.

I had known Josh Smith being Darrell Scott's uncle for a while, and after seeing him play for the first time last night I said to myself, "He seems like he sucks."

My dad has a nephew who is a couple years older than him. It happens when you have siblings who are about 20 years older than you are.
