CNN needed to let him ask ALL of the questions. His questions were straight-forward and to the point. John King kept tossing softballs that allow both candidates to give "easy" answers.

I was shocked the first question was about Cuba. I'm not up on my spanish language stations. Is Univision owned by Cuban-Americans? It didn't think the Cuban situation had much resonance in Texas

Yeah, Cuba is not really a Texas Democrat issue, but otherwise he did a good job.
