Has anyone heard about Shipley's application for a medical redshirt? Denied or accpeted?

All the seniors have been taken off the roster, and
class ranks have been adjusted.

The fact that Shipley remains makes me beleive that its a done deal.

I believe Puddle/Cruiser is correct. According to Shipley's bio on MBTF, he redshirted in 2004, missed all of 2005 due to injury, participated in 2006 and 2007, so 2008 will be his senior season. If he's granted a medical redshirt for 2005, then he'd have one more year of eligibility for 2009.

The crystal ball says he'll decide to move on after next year to make room for Buckner, Grant and Hales. But it has been wrong before.
