According to Jerry Scarbrough's latest update,Jordan Hicks
will visit the weekend of the Colorado game.He feels it will probably end up between us and Ohio St.

Dear Jordan,

Please watch film of the Fiesta Bowl and then make your decision.

Great to hear that Jordan is visiting. Lets make some signs for the Colorado game and show him some love. He would be great here and definitely someone we need roaming the area.
Common Jordan!

If this is a battle between Texas and Ohio State, I have to think that the depth charts give Texas an edge. Hicks has said that he'd like to play early and that he'll be looking into the schools' depth charts. Ohio State will have 11 returning scholarship linebackers in 2010 that will already have time in the system and seniority. Texas will have 6. There's a much better opportunity to play as a freshman LB in Austin than there is in Columbus.Texas

Hey, Ohio (David Boston) and every other state gets big time recruits from Texas on a regular basis, its about time we got one back in return. He appears to be everything we'd want in a student athlete at UT.

I just wish he was coming to see the Tech game...it will be a better game-day (game-night) atmosphere, and every seat will be filled for that match-up. Though the sCUm game might end up being an official sellout, I'l bet you'll see some empty seats (like vs. eaTme last Thanksgiving). And there wil be a definite buzz in the air for sand aggy; not so much for the Buffs.

Make sure he doesn't watch our LBs trying to tackle Wells or Pryor if you have him watch that game...or maybe have him, then he knows he'll start early

di-dip-da-dip-dip - change in plans for glenn: i got tickies for the monroe game just in case i'm not here later. had figured that would be my only first-hand observation this season. if seats are available for colorado i will go or give my ticket to someone who will. jordan will see my seat warm.

I'll second the motion, Mr. Hicks, you will be most welcome in Austin. WE would love to see you in Burnt Orange...

With Jackson and Benson already in the fold, Hicks' addition would make this one of the great LB classes of all time. That would be 3 OLB rated at 5.8 or higher by Rivals. Think what a pressure minded Coach Boom could do with that...

The great thing about the video is NOT 1. he's fast

BUT

2.when he realizes he's not going to get the QB, he puts his hands up.

Loved it.

What Jordan Hicks did in the video clip is very reminiscent of what Orakpo did during the Redskins-Steelers preseason game... get into the opponent's backfield and create havoc. Of course, creating a turnover is the ultimate havoc that we need to do a lot more of.

I'm hoping the long line of Longhorn LB/DE hybrid disruptors goes like...
Brian Orakpo

There's yap that Hicks' mother and Mad Dog get on well. Also, she will move wherever he goes to school (not sure how she can be so sure in this economy).

Going to tOSU-USC game this weekend for his official. Not optimum in my opinion as the staff often doesn't have the same kind of time to lavish of prospects when the media circus is in full swing.
