Jordan Hamilton, soft verbal?

Today at the Nike Global Challenge, Wall commented on the college decision of Jordan Hamilton saying; "I think he's going to Texas," Wall said. "I think that's where he's going."

Also on Rivals John Wall says "Jordan Hamilton is probably going to Texas, and he wants me to put them back in the mix," he (Wall) said.

Nothing is official until the LOI is signed but what do you all think?
What do you all make of this? Is it a soft verbal from Hamilton?

No, I dont think this is any sort of sign one way or the other. Things like this happen all the time, so time will tell.

With that said, many people think Texas is the favorite, so it is not like Wall went out on a limb there.

Im not getting happy until I hear it out of his mouth.

Jordan Hamilton is enjoying the recruiting process, and wants to take a few visits before committing.

That said, any of the schools recruiting him know they have their work cut out for them to get him away from Texas. It doesn't mean it won't happen, but it's going to be tough. He's had Texas as his favorite for almost a year now.

Of course, that begs the question as to why he hasn't just gone ahead and pulled the trigger, but that's up to him. At this point, I'm not concerned. I will say I'll throw myself from a ledge if he ends up elsewhere, but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

BTW, there are few terms in recruiting I loathe more than "soft verbal" whatever the **** that is.

Indeed... since all that matters is the signature, "soft verbal" means whatever you want it to mean.

No way that John Wall ends up at Texas. It seems he will only go somewhere that is willing to hire his AAU coach and I'd jump from the same ledge as SLX if Texas hires an AAU coach in order to get a recruit.

I think Jordan will lead Texas to a Final 4 if he lands here. Barnes deserves a lot of credit for what he has built Texas basketball into.
