He repeated 9th grade and has played 4 years. If academics are in order, sufficient sat score and he graduates in spring, then he will enter Texas in the summer.
What the hell is up with misleading thread titles? Is that some lame attempt to be cute or is it too much to add "ruled ineligible for a 5th high school season"?
Does anyone know the likelihood of him enrolling in next year, or is he going to go the prep school route?

Too busy then roll down the list until something satisfies your taste... Ban the OP my goodness what a bunch of ***********. Contribute something to the story/link/topic would be enough.
Have a great Friday and chill out its the weekend.
Lame *** thread titles like this are akin to asking your professor a question to which you already know the answer just so you can show how smart you think you are.
Just to clarify, Jordan Hamilton did not play high basketball as a freshman. His dad kept him off the team to concentrate on academics, then had him repeat 9th grade.
So while he's been in high school for 4 years, he's only played high school basketball for 3 years. Also, he's only going to turn 18 this year, so he started high school early as well.
Like BiH said, he still needs to take his SAT.
Speculation exists that says the reason it took so long for Hamilton to commit to Texas was the family waited on getting a ruling back from California regarding his eligibility status. I'm unclear on what one would necessarily have to do with the other, but apparently they were hoping to have this all cleared up before making an announcement, although it didn't work out that way.
Oh, and I vote for bad title as well, even though I knew what the post was referring to before I opened it up.
